Taipei-based Smoke Machine revealed their first release, SMKMCHN#01, featuring Dorisburg, Blind Observatory, and Agonis, landing later in 2018.
Founded in 2011, Smoke Machine started as a podcast series with a focus on ambient, techno and experimental music. Later on, the Taiwanese crew started organising events, most distinguished of which has been the seaside festival Organik, happening again this year at Huting, Taiwan, on the 27th of April. The team has now announced their first release as an imprint. SMKMCHN#01 includes Dorisburg, Blind Observatory and Agonis in a four-track ambient techno release, matching the ideology behind Smoke Machine.
