Ploy returns to Batu’s Timedance with new release

Timedance announces Ramos, the imprints 14th release produced by Ploy, hitting the stores on June 29th.

Bristol native Sam Smith better known as Ploy had his debut with Sala One Five released by Hessle Audio and then continued releasing in Batu’s Timedance imprint. The British artist has an interesting approach in the new UK techno productions lately introduced by the island. Influences include African tribal music, footwork, bass music, early dubstep/garage, and traces of house and techno as well. For Timedance’s forthcoming release the artists prepared two tracks. In title track “Ramos” the producer builds tension and then steps in with 808 snares in a tribal dancefloor banger, adding trademark vocal samples to his track.
