Pioneer DJ has disclosed new details to their latest controller, DJ-1000, a brand new four-channel DJ controller to improve its performance.
The new features of DJ-1000 contain high-definition LCD screens on the jog wheels displaying BPM, waveform and more; a new track assortment assistant called Related Tracks, along with a selection of 14 Beat FX parameters, and 16 multi-coloured performance pads (eight per deck) to trigger various features including Hot Cues, Pad FX and Keyboard Mode, which enables you to play a Hot Cue in different semitones.
Furthermore, DJ-1000 is accustomed to getting the most out of Pioneer’s Rekordbox DJ performance software, which contains an improved audio analysis and an Automix function. With the new better version on the table, this time each player has a special looper and also a Jog Adjust switch.
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-1000 is available from mid-January for €1199.
