Mutable Instruments releases their newest product in the modular world called Stages.
After previously announcing their random sampler Marbles and macro-oscillator Plaits, Mutable Instruments have come up a with a new segment generator module named Stages. It consists of an ASR envelope, complex 6-stage envelope, LFO, 4-step sequencer and a switchable LFO, offering different kinds of modulation to the user. The behaviour of the module is not preprogrammed, instead, it allows you to “describe your own modulations in terms of basic operations: ramp from one voltage to another, hold a voltage at a set level, wait for a trigger and slew. With or without looping.”
Stages is set at a price of €299 and will ship to the retailers this week.
