Iconic synthesizer manufacturers Moog have announce their newest semi-modular synth Subharmonicon. Previews of the synth will be available at this edition of Moogfest.
The American company are releasing their third semi-modular analog synth following the preceding format of the Mother-32 and the DFAM synth. The synth is inspired by various unconventional instruments such as Trautonium, the Rythmicon and the Schillinger System. Subharmonicon has two oscillators, two envelope generators, a VCA, a VCF with control over resonance and an internally installed step sequencer. New features include multiple sub-oscillators, logic functions and more.
More details on price, availability and features will be disclosed on Moogfest this year.
