Frankie Knuckles mural gets repainted again three years after it was taken down. The new location will be revealed on August 25th.
In 2014, after iconic Chicago artist Frankie Knuckles passed away, a crew of artists painted a mural to honour him. The artwork was located in the roof of the Logan Square clothing store until 2015 when it was taken down because of water damage that needed repairing. Three years after its removal, the graffiti got remade, but now in an unknown location which is expected to be revealed with a celebration on August 25th, also known as the Frankie Knuckles day.
