Clone Records’ Aqualung Series offshoot has reissued Drexciya’s member James Stinson’s Kilohertz EP as Elecktroids.
Elecktroids’ reissue was revealed in Amsterdam at the Clone pop-up store of ADE 2018. Originally released in 1995 on Warp Records, the EP presented the mysterious project which later in July 2008, when Warp Records re-listed the CD version of the Elektroworld album, the promotional texts stated: “Produced by Drexciya’s late James Stinson.” The Dutch imprint Clone also released a Stinson four-track EP under the pseudonym Transllusion earlier this year.
