BBC have released 16,016 sound effects in WAV from their archive, ready for usage under the RemArc License.
The British Broadcasting Corporation better known as BBC have released 16,016 sound effects in WAV format ready to be downloaded and used for educational, personal or research purposes. The policy is part the RemArc License under which the copyright of the sound bank is covered.
It is not the first case in which BBC are releasing free sounds. They previously released the 1Xra sample bank which includes samples from different music genres like drum & bass, hip hop, garage, house and dance. You may also purchase 29,420 royalty-free samples from BBC via ProSoundEffects.
