The Long Now is the grand closing event of MaerzMusik − Festival for Time Issues 2019 in cooperation with Berlin Atonal, happening in Kraftwerk Berlin from 30th to 31st of March.
The fifth edition of The Long Now with a duration of 30 hours showcases musical avant-garde to experimental electronics, ambient and noise held in the monumental setting of Kraftwerk Berlin, where “concerts, performances, electronic live-acts, sound and video installations form a large-scale composition in time and space.” The full lineup for this year’s edition includes performances from Alessandro Cortini with Mark Verbos, Australian experimentalist Oren Ambarchi, Music From Memory’s Jonny Nash, an extended ambient set from Donato Dozzy, percussion from Eli Keszler, and a concluding presentation from Organic Dial, among other live projects.
