Ryuichi Sakamoto has announced the release of a new two-track 12″ titled ff2, via Milan Records coming out on April 21st.
ff2 follows the artist’s latest album, async, where the Japanese composer used a tsunami-damaged piano which affected Japan in 2011, and async remodels, featuring reworked tracks from the original album from Johann Johannsson, Alva Noto, Oneohtrix Point Never, Andy Stott, and more, both released last year via Milan Records. The forthcoming release consists of two previously unreleased tracks by Sakamoto, set to be released for Record Store Day this year.
